Some belated but absolutely necessary feedback, because I love this story so very much and should really have said so when I first found it. It really works for me that they're both fucked up in this, but with enough of a connection that they can get better. (I'm almost pathetically grateful for the happy ending, I admit. :-) Very lovely, on so many levels!
