Oh man, thank you so much for writing so much! :) It's funny, I love het, probably more than slash, actually, but JE isn't as giving in that department as HP is, sadly. I do get that graphic description can be off-putting for a lot of people, and I generally don't use a lot of clinical words, so I'm glad that worked for you.

As for inadequacy, I'm flattered, definitely -- but don't feel inadequate, oh man! A lot of writing is just practice, I think, every time you write something you get better. And a lot of the first fic I wrote was...hilariously bad. ;) But thank you, for writing this comment, because it was lovely to read and I appreciate it. ♥
